Oblates will celebrate

Feast of Holy Spouses

Oblates of St. Joseph, Route 315, Laflin, will celebrate Mass for the Feast of the Holy Spouses at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21. The Rev. Louis Grippe, pastor of The Most Precious Blood Parish, Hazelton, will be celebrant and homilist. Lapel-pins will be distributed and a light reception will follow.

serves soup and salad

Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Harding, is holding an all-you-can-eat soup and salad supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, with a variety of soups, chili, salads, breads, beverages and desserts. Dinners are $7; $4 for children.
