The Falls Active Adult Center, sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne/Wyoming Counties, recently celebrated Western Day with the Jolly Seniors providing music. The Falls Active Adult Center is holding its annual craft fair and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, rain or shine. All craft vendors will be outside. The Lions Club will sell food and a bake sale will be held inside. The Falls Active Adult Center, sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne/Wyoming counties, offers the following weekly activities: Mondays, nutrition talks at lunch, bingo following lunch; Tuesdays, craft club meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon, brain games are held at lunch, and Geri-Fit is from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.; Wednesdays, men’s and women’s coffee club, 10 to 11:45 a.m.; Thursdays, bingo following lunch, and Fridays, geocaching activity, 9:30 a.m. to noon and Geri-Fit from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to come to the center for a meal at noon for a suggested donation of $2 for those 60 and over or $4.98 for those under 60, should RSVP to Twila at 570-388-2623 by 12:30 p.m. the day before. The center, on Route 92 Exeter Twp., is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
