The unseasonably warmer weather we experienced in the Northeast well into October didn’t give the leaves an opportunity to fully blossom in color and fall to the ground at a slow and steady pace. Instead, they are dropping quickly now, and we’d better keep pace with their drop rate in order to have them raked and ready for the town’s upcoming yard waste collection.
Tuesday, Nov. 21, the borough will have its final yard waste pick up this season, weather permitting. Residents are reminded to place their yard waste curbside the night before the collection date to ensure pick up.
