Combined councils of the Knights of Columbus of the Wyoming Valley, will host their 41st annual Rosary Rally on Sunday, Sept. 24. This year’s Rosary Rally will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston. The Rev. Joseph Elston, pastor, welcomes all the faithful to attend this prayerful event. Rosary procession from the church, through the streets around the parish will begin at 2 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will carry the Our Lady of Fatima Pilgrim Virgin Statue in procession followed by the faithful. Special emphasis will be focused on praying for peace in our country and the world. Those who will not be in the procession are invited to go directly to the church by 3 p.m., at which time the Grand Knights will lead the Glorious Mysteries of the rosary. Mass will begin immediately following the rosary. This Mass will satisfy Sunday obligation. Refreshments will be served following Mass at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 55 Main St., Pittston.
