Get ready, everybody! It’s time to monster mash in Avoca, and the Langcliffe Presbyterian Church has its annual ghoulishly good trunk or treat event planned next weekend for the community to enjoy. Be sure to stop by for an evening of hauntingly hair-raising fun with your friends and neighbors!

Langcliffe Presbyterian Church will host its annual trunk-or-treat at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the church parking lot, 1001 Main St. This spooktacular event is a safe, fun and simple way for children to trick or treat as they walk around the parking lot to all the decorated car trunks and truck beds for candy. There also will be hot chocolate and music to enjoy.

Off-street parking will be available via the York Avenue gated entrance to the Langcliffe Cemetery. The path will be well lit through the cemetery to the church parking where all of the activities will take place. Handicap accessible parking will be available on the north side of the church.

This event is free and open to the public.
