Alicia Magda and Ryan Pringle were united in marriage Sept. 17, 2016, at St. Ignatius Church, Kingston, by Monsignor Neil Van Loon.

The bride is the daughter of Stanley P. and Margo M. Magda, Bear Creek Twp. She is the granddaughter of the late Stephen and Mary Hrab, Pittston, and the late Stephen and Helen Magda, Dupont.

The groom is the son of Jack and Anne Lenahan, of Kingston. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Mary Alice Pringle, of Kingston.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Stanley Magda. The bride wore a custom designed gown by Mermaid Bridal, with enhancements and alterations by seamstress Marie Rovinski, of Pittston. Her A-line gown featured an illusion neckline with full-length illusion sleeves, ivory lace and tulle, accented with a custom made satin, flower and pearl waistband. Her ensemble was complimented by her late grandmother Mary’s pearl earrings and necklace. She chose Marie Conahan as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Dana Menzel, Megan Piazza, Mandy Pennington and Tasnuva Zaman, friends of the bride, and Meghan Lenahan, sister of the groom. Corinne Wilson, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.

The groom chose Charles DeBonis as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Blazosek, Patrick Conahan, Kevin Major and Brandon Mirigliani, friends of the groom. Jerry Finn and Charlie Maher, cousins of the groom, served as ring bearers.

Scriptural readings were given by Jack Lenahan, father of the groom, and Edward Ackerman, uncle of the bride. Offertory gifts were presented by Marie Conahan and Charles DeBonis. Also participating in the ceremony were the Rev. Louis A. Grippe and the Rev. John Chmil. Liturgical music was provided by vocalist Elaine Blessing; vocalist/pianist Caprice Ryan, strings Leah Valences Music, and bagpiper Dan Bartley.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother and the mother of the groom at The Gallery at Pierce Plaza in Kingston. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at the Westmoreland Club, Wilkes-Barre. An evening cocktail hour and reception were hosted by the parents of the bride at the Inne of the Abingtons, Clarks Summit. A post wedding brunch hosted by the parents of the bride also was held at the Inne of the Abingtons, Clarks Summit.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English and minor in communications from Misericordia University in 2008. She is the senior director of online marketing at Web.com in Drums and Jacksonville, Florida.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Lehigh University in 2008. He is a senior programming engineer at Frontier Communications in Dallas.

The couple honeymooned in the Eastern Caribbean and resides in Kingston with their dog, Lily, and cat, Sam.
