Wyoming Area Catholic School in Exeter continued an annual tradition with the crowning of the

Blessed Mother in May. At

St. Cecelia’s Church, the students in eighth grade lead the school

community with readings, petitions and offertory gifts. After the liturgy, the eighth grade students processed in church to the statue of the Blessed Mother for the crowning ceremony and led the congregation in a prayer to the Blessed Mother. The Rev.

Patrick Albert, pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Tunkhannock, was the main celebrant.
