Phoenix Kids will present “Seussical the Musical” at Phoenix Performing Arts Centre, 409 Main St., Duryea, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, April 13 through April 22. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission. Call 570-457-3589 for reservations. Tickets also will be available at the door. “Seussical the Musical” is based on the works of Dr. Seuss and weaves together his most famous tales and characters from at least 15 of his books. The production is being done with puppets as the characters and is fun for the whole family. The show follows the adventures of Horton the elephant who is ridiculed by the other animals in the Jungle of Nool for believing in something he cannot see after he claims a universe of Whos lives on a tiny speck of dust.
