Phoenix Theatrics will present “Fame: The Musical” May 12-26, in honor of its 10th anniversary re-grand opening of the newly renovated theater. The Phoenix Performing Arts Center, at 409 Main St., Duryea, recently was refurbished through the efforts of Leadership Wilkes-Barre’s Phoenix Rising team. “Fame” was the first musical at Phoenix back in 2011. The first three years the theater only presented straight plays. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $12.
