dodgeball tournament

Holy Rosary School, Duryea, is hosting its second annual community wide dodgeball tournament.

The double elimination event will be held in the school gym, Stephenson Street, from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, April 28; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 30, and will be divided into six brackets: first and second grade; third and fourth; fifth and sixth; seventh and eighth; high school; and college/adult.

Teams can include eight to 10 players. Cost is $10 per person. Individuals and teams can register online at the Race Roster website at raceroster.com/events/2017/12272/holy-rosary-school-dodgeball-tournament.

Dupont’s Gerriy named to dean’s

list at South Hills

Meghan Gerrity, of Dupont, was among the students named to the dean’s list for the winter term at South Hills School of Business & Technology in State College.

A 2016 Pittston Area High School graduate, she is studying diagnostic medical sonography.
