St. John Evangelist Church in Pittston recently held their annual bazaar near its parish on William Street. The event which draws a large crowd every year featured performances and shows by Hillbilly D'lux, Emerald Isle Step Dancers, Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots, Pat Ward Magic Show and Flaxy Morgan. American and ethnic foods were represented at various food booths. The bazaar also had games, baked goods, bingo and a flea market.

St. John the Evangelist Parish, Pittston, held its 18th annual bazaar Thursday, Aug. 10, through Saturday, Aug. 12. The event featured live music, magic tricks, food, games, raffles, bingo and a flea market.
