The Sunday following Labor Day celebrates National Grandparents Day. If you ask me, there is a lot to celebrate here.
For many of us, it was our grandparents who made the difficult decision to leave their homeland in search of better opportunities and a better life for their family. That is certainly the case for me. If it weren’t for my maternal grandparents leaving Lebanon in the height of a war to come to America, I wouldn’t be here at all.
This is just one of the many things you can take time to thank your grandparents for this weekend. Give thanks to yours for all they’ve done for you throughout your life and enjoy the last few weekends of summer!
