Everybody may be getting ready for the Super Bowl. But are you also getting ready for the Souper Bowl of Caring?
This national event uses the energy around America’s largest sporting event to inspire youth to fight hunger and poverty. The Souper Bowl of Caring has 39 participating groups worldwide that have collected more than $305,000 in cash and food items.
You have the opportunity to participate in this great charity event here in West Pittston.
By participating, you will help the youth of Corpus Christi Parish develop a stronger connection to our community as they collect food and raise money which will be used to fill the church’s food pantry shelves.
Just bring canned goods or a $1 donation. Donations will be accepted at all Masses the weekend of the Super Bowl, Sunday, Feb. 4.
