Wyoming Area Catholic School, Exeter, celebrated National Catholic Schools Week by gathering as a faith community to celebrate Mass and to install the officers and homeroom representatives of student council for the 2017-18 school year. Student council exists to serve the school, local, and world community and promotes spirit within the school community with a variety of activities. The Rev. Peter Tomczak, pastor of St. Monica’s parish, celebrated this year’s annual Mass, which was planned by council moderator Ann Marie Walsh and the council representatives. Eileen Rishcoff, principal, then awarded each representative a student council and citizenship pin blessed by Fr. Peter Tomczak.
